Uyi Omoregie

Uyiosa Omoregie, is the senior research fellow/principal analyst. He attended West Buckland School, in England, U.K, and is an alumnus of the University of London with The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as lead college. Uyi previously worked for about a decade as a research analyst in a leading consultancy firm and in industry. He is also a member of the Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR) and The Credibility Coalition (CredCo). CredCo is an international research community focused on the quality, credibility and veracity of information found online. He is a member of the Canadian Association for Information Science (CAIS-ACSI), a reviewer for the Journal of Information Science (SAGE Publishing) and Misinformation Review (Harvard University). Uyi is also a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT Technology Review Global Panel and the Canadian Academy of Independent Scholars. He is the co-author of the book Misinformation Matters: Online Content and Quality Analysis (Taylor & Francis, 2023)
